我与世隔绝了
因为在越南的那段日子
我真的看不到熟悉的环境和生活方式
我很惊讶
虽然我已经预料到这种落后的国家将会和新加坡有大不同
不过
差别也太大了吧。

从胡志明市的机场走出来
可以用“一片混乱”来形容
我们都很小心
越语和国语格格不入
很难沟通
有担心我们大包小包的会被打枪

机场有不少闲人
他们的目光很明显的离不开旅客
就连搭德士我们也很小心
确认哪一种德士可以乘搭
我们才乘搭。

我们搜出饭店的资料
把地址递给司机
看了看才知道在哪里

那儿的交通更是大混乱
有交通灯就像没交通灯似的
车辆从四面八方冲过来
坐在德士里的我们 可说是心惊胆跳
德士司机拼命的大喇叭
目的就是要顺利驶过好几个十字路口

看到那儿的人 随随便便在路上摆摊
恳求路人帮忙买东西
也看到不少路人甲 随便披着地皮 躺下来昏睡着
看到这些不可思议的贫穷人家时
不禁会有许多感触，感慨。
我们是多么的幸福啊

那天淹水 我看到路上的路人 还向正常生活一样
根本不对膝盖深的污水给影响到
路上的摩托车 汽车 路人 都不把淹水当成一回事
赚钱比任何事更重要。

我们应该知足。

When i tell people that im going to Vietnam for a holiday, their first reaction is often,

“Go there find girlfriend ah ? ” or

“Go get a bride right?!”

Erm, honestly speaking I didnt even think of that when i agreed to go to Vietnam with Yongdi they all. *Innocent*. But whatever, Im going there to experience their life. Somehow I like to visit the less developed countries as I really want to experience how the people there are living and how they cope with life. It will be an eye opener to me I believe. Somemore, if I visit hongkong, taiwan, japan, there is not alot of difference compared to Singapore, the experience is not as great. Of course I will still visit these places because i want to shop =).

Whatever, shall summarise the past week. spent days in camp to help out in their running course. My honest opinion, i feel especially unhappy when we are told to do something else that isn’t our responsibility, when we were attached to a certain job itself. but oh well, this is nothing new.

The bunk now is so empty, with lots of people on leave and off.. so quiet. Haha who am i to say, i will be gone the next of whole week =)! Met my target this week, decides to maintian it till the end of Vietnam, and then continue my regime again. I’m so going to spend my time wisely this time. Focus and Achieve =).

November seems to be a month for giving birth.. quite alot of my frens are having birthdays in november! Firsly we have Wenzheng’s birthday on friday but we celebrated on thursday night. We had steamboat at Tian Tian Steamboat!

The food there was fabulous! okay, i recommend eating steamboat there because i think its a nice place with nice food. I love vtw people! fun people. hahah..

okay friday is rather free. spent my time to swim and gym in the morning with peter. then we went to topone kbox. it was rather fun. one thing that i can complain is that the songs are not updated enough. but it was a rather fun experience.

Saturday is a celebration for Terence’s birthday! went out at 1 plus to fetch terence yilong darren kengtat to goldkist chalet. the chalet was undesirable. fan spoil smelly anything u can name. lol. but nevertheless it was rather fun! later shiliang peter carlos and jeffrey joined us. we had a gr8 time bbqing and mjing and monopoly dealing ! hahah didnt sleep though.

had a talk with him, i can only say..

“since i can’t get my point across, you don’t know why am i so affected, u think im sensitive, im over reacting, im selfish, im spoilt. whatever. if you think by changing is fair to me and to friends around you, then go ahead. i can tell you right in your face, it’s unfair to everyone, including yourself. u say is for a better you, i disagree. sorry. i have already presented my stand, and u will understand why later. i have had enough. disappointments one after another, is enough. i have already told you why it should not go this way, i have already told you the consequences right from the start, i have already told you whatever i feel. You chose to be firm, you chose to not do anything about it, you chose to think that im wrong everywhere, you chose to think that you are correct. You chose to avoid the problem. Ok not your fault. But i can only say, continue this will only drift us apart. i feel that i don’t know you anymore. But anyway, i do hope you know what’s best for yourself. i treasure such a friend.  i hope for the best for you too. I know why I am sensitive and I know I should be sensitive. When it comes to a point that im not going to question you about why u change and anything or affected, it’s not a good situation. Think about it. Most importantly, be happy, find back yourself. I know you can do it. I will be around. “

Yup today ended with swim!! 30 laps =)

Oh well, after gymming on thursday, i still hopped into the swimming pool and tried to swim. Without goggles seriously is a chore to swim. Dint like  the feeling of swimming without goggles, thus after a while, i came up and changed up. Oh well. Anchorvale CC is really a very nice place for gymming and swimming, although the gym is still not quite there yet, but well its sufficient.

Saturday is Daddy’s birthday!! Woke up early accompanied my grandparents and parents to Red Star Restaurant to enjoy their famous dim sum. I didnt think their dim sum was especially nice but the egg tarts were awesome! Something interesting is that this restaurant serves super uber big bao! Can u imagine 8 of us actually shared that piece of bun? lol. Cool, isnt it?

Yep, after which, went for SMU Matriculation Talk. It was rather beneficial because I finally understood what Matriculation is about, and I actually started to like the school more and more. SMU should be the right school for me I guess. And after I get the student card, I can actually use their facilities such as the gym, swimming pool etc. It’s quite cool!

In any way, yup after that talk, met up with Peter Carlos Yilong and Terence. Had dinner with them. Didnt want to spend so much in the end we spent $27 each for the dinner. =.= Thats something bad about Japan Village, we will never keep track of how much we are spending. Had quite a fun night with them. =)

Today morning went for the last tuition, and then the usual routine, listening to my MUST LISTEN 933 Chart.. hahah. Yeps, after that i headed to Anchorvale CC to hit the gym and use the swimming pool again. Yup this time i was not a blur cock anymore, i brought everything i needed =). There was like much more people than weekdays… oh well i still continued. MUst meet my objective man. I will appreciate swimmers to all swim in the lap directions and not cut through all the laps. It gets very irritating because the laps are designed such that swimmers swim within their laps.

That’s all for today.. long weekend again next week =).

Yup, headed to the gym then to swim today. After watching the recorded series, I drove the car out to anchorvale community centre for the gym. I prefer the seletar gym actually. But well, the objective is nevertheless the same. I feel so happy today, gratitude!

Yup did weights and sit ups, after which I went to their swimming pool. Searched my bag, i realised i actually forgot to bring my goggles! What a joke man!! hahahaha. Still I went to swim. hahahah.. It was not easy to swim without goggles, so I didnt fufil my original plan.

Oh well.. back home again, feeling tired. Think I’m gonna have an early night today =). Take care everyone =) =) =)!!

$50 is all you need to enter and you get 45 mins of massage, and u get to enjoy other in built facilities as well such as jacuzzi and sauna as well as steam room. It was a wonderful experience. Great time. This place is recommended by Peter and i really thank him for that. It was super refreshing, rewarding! The massage.. total comfort man! Hearing the ‘cruck’ sound coming from the different parts of our bodies really make us feel damn song.. haha. Although some parts of it we might feel pain and ticklish but it was all worth it! Great man!

Jacuzzi was the one.. hot but damn comfortable. I would love to come again but its $50.. dont think will come so soon again. haha. Sauna and Steam Room were seriously hot, but is damn refreshing and nice feeling to see so much sweat coming out from your body in such a short time. Damn nice sia!

Great, managed to squeeze some time for this man. =) =) =). I am so happy. =)

This trip was alot more than that I had expected, but I only hate the weather, it is damn bloody hot in the afternoon and rains at night, making it damn bloody cold. Two weeks, this two weeks is enough to bring the platoon/company closer to each other, and this 2 weeks marks the last 2 weeks of garang times we will be having with 14 of our specs. It was rather meaningful.
